Introducing the most excellent Emily + Josh, who I joined for their sunny celebrations at Bunny Hill Weddings in East Yorkshire last weekend!
Bunny Hill: a hidden gem of a wedding barn venue in East Yorkshire with a tonne of excellent accommodation
This young couple met working together at Stockeld Park back in 2017, co-ordinating outdoor events and clearly fell deeply in love! They’ve since bolstered their fam with their Cockerpoo furbaby Paddy, who was on ring bearer duties at the wedding!
Talking of family, it was fab to see so many of them again, as I’d papped the groom’s sis Jonny’s wedding to Hannah 6 years ago too (post here)! It was lovely to see meet their daughter Poppy too, who was front and centre as one of the sweetest flower girls I’ve ever photographed!
Some weddings just get you in the feels, and this one did it time and time again: that classic father daughter moment, compounded into tears when he delivered his speech (which somehow made me reflect forward to my daughters wedding day), seeing this bubbly bride and her pals immediately dance anything by Taylor Swift / Disney, seeing how tender and lovely the newly weds were in each other’s quiet company… basically one of those weddings where the couple were ‘in the moment’ all day long!
And with gorgeous sunshine provided by Mother Nature (plus that golden hour gift in a cornfield!), the best food in the biz by Hog and Apple, and the perfect scene set by Emma + Charlotte at Bunny Hill, it really was the perfect wedding!
I love shooting weddings in Yorkshire and this was the second time I’ve now shot at ‘The Barn’ and it was great to be back!
Bunny Hill Weddings are definitely one of my top ten luxury Yorkshire wedding barn venues!
