The Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey is a stunning 16th Century listed Yorkshire wedding Venue on the Duke Of Devonshire’s Bolton Abbey Estate, at the edge of the Yorkshire Dales in North Yorkshire. Itโs positioned for majestic views over the Bolton Abbey Priory and views of the Yorkshire Dales.
One of Yorkshireโs larger venues, it can feed up to 200 seated guests for the ceremony and meal (or host wedding celebrations following a ceremony in one of the local churches, including Bolton Priory in the Abbey ruins!) and accommodate 300 party people in the evening!
I always love shooting up in the Dales and The Tithe Barn is a cracker! Hooped copper lanterns flank the ancient arched doorways and sheep dot the fields surrounding the barn. Fairy lights, flowers and lanterns create an intimate space for a wedding feast in the Oak Room. As the sun sets firepits make the perfect gathering point for a relaxing respite from the revelry or for fun and games with sparklers!
