Last Friday I joined Fiona + Andy for their stunning wedding photography at The Tithe Barn at Bolton Abbey – a wonderfully restored, ancient barn, overlooking Bolton Abbey in the rolling Yorkshire Dales!

My wingman Matt & I joined this happy couple for their relaxed preparations in an ominously rainy Skipton. Thankfully, by the time they arrived at the ceremony, the weather had relented… and come the afternoon reception we were blessed with glorious blazing sunshine, for our portraits around the Bolton Abbey Priory ruins (with their beloved pooch, Alfie the Cockerpoo)!
Amusing speeches book-ended a delicious roast pork dinner and before we knew it the cupcake cake was cut. Sparklers fired up around the fire pits outside and the band invited the newlyweds in to dance to the excellent ‘The Book of Love’ by Peter Gabriel as their first dance. As night fell on a wonderful day, we left guests to enjoy ‘Bandit’ rocking the dancefloor!
