Last Saturday I joined the very lovely Abbie + Luke for their wedding photos at Kilnwick Percy Resort in East Yorkshire!
One of the finest wedding venues in the Pocklington area, this pristine golf course is surrounded on all sides by panoramic views of the stunning Yorkshire Wolds!
I had a blast joining Abbie and Team Bride for their fun (and Prosecco!) filled morning, while my wingman Paul Stott joined Luke and Team Groom (including their Red Fox Labrador ‘Jax’!) at their home bang in the middle of Pocklington’s Market town.
After an emotional first look with Dad, he and his daughter were whisked over to the venue in none other than a golf buggy! The quick civil ceremony overlooking the sunny course went off without a hitch – including their beloved pooch bearing the rings down the aisle – and then we spent the afternoon on the terrace enjoying the blazing sun!
Following speeches – which ranged from hilarious to emotional, honouring Luke’s grandad who’d recently passed – we were blessed with perfect golden hour sunshine for a few bonus portraits after golfers had vacated the course.
Then it was suddenly time to party, and first, father and mother dances were done, before foam sticks came out and the dance floor went wild!
This must be one of the best Golf Course Wedding Venues in East Yorkshire
It was the first time I’ve photographed here and was a belter of a venue, slickly run by the team and friendly co-ordinator Mark.
