Yesterday I joined Kerrie & Callum for their wedding photos at The Leeds Irish Centre, and what a day it was!
Fun, family-focused wedding photos in the heart of Leeds
The day was centred around their two lovely little ones – Norah (6) and Thomas (3) – as well as their Fox Red Lab, Cooper, who enjoyed a LOT of bacon during the morning preps (and even featured on every table’s place name!).
I nipped between the girls and the guys, who were getting ready just up the road from one another. Callum donned a white tux blazer and shamrock cufflinks before heading down the road to St. Gregory the Great Church for the Catholic service.
Double storms were rolling around, threatening to mess with the programme all day, but thankfully held off for cuddles, group pics and a confetti shot (with only a handful of leftover flower girl petals)! The seriously stormy weather hit during the drive to the Irish Centre, but the celebrations continued indoors, with plenty of pints of the black stuff!
At the heart of the Irish community, the Leeds Irish Centre has been hosting amazing weddings & music since 1970!
While I’ve been to gigs at the Irish Centre over the years, this was my first time photographing a wedding there! It’s a grand space with lovely staff, and the O’Meara Suite was a beautiful setting for roast beef, speeches, plenty of dancing and evening revelry!
These two are a cute pair, and Kerrie apparently told everyone after their first date that she was going to marry this man and have his beautiful blue-eyed babies! It was such fun to be there to see that plan come full circle and celebrate with them.
I love shooting wedding photos around Yorkshire, and it’s great to discover new venues right on my doorstep like this.
Now grab y’sen a steaming mug of Yorkshire tea and hit play on the slideshow below to check out their wedding highlights!

What a lovely family focussed wedding celebration!

Here’s wishing this pair huge congratulations, a wonderful life and I hope their honeymoon in Cyprus!
Big love,
