Last Saturday I joined Lillian + Alan for their outdoor wedding photos at Goldsborough Hall near Knaresborough in Yorkshire!
Stunning grounds, stately rooms, a church on site and even royal connections, Goldsborough Hall is a wedding venue that has it all!
This lovely pair met at Oxford uni and their wedding was a wonderful meeting of the clans from up and down the land! Alan’s Scottish lot sported a fantastic array of kilts, complimenting Team Groom’s ace Ben Lomond Tartan and ace ‘flyplaid’ shoulder tartan. Team bride held up their side beautifully too, with Lillian in a stunning Adriana Alier gown with bridesmaids in powder blue!
Relaxed preparations were followed by a lovely outside civil ceremony, under the Yorkshire Skies! Through a confetti tunnel and a quick round of group pics, and everyone relaxed into reception fizz and canapés around the stunning floral backdrops of Goldsborough Hall. A spin round the kitchen gardens, woodland gazebo and my fave spots in the grounds, and it was into the Orangery for hilarious speeches and a delicious beef dinner!
This unique stately home with royal connections, provides the setting for an unforgettable fairy-tale wedding!
Soon it was first dance time, followed by a fun dance routine from Team Bride and a huge knees up on the dance floor! These guys knew how to dance and were pogo-ing hard to Scottish anthems as we did a few final evening flash pics!
I love shooting weddings in Yorkshire and I never tire of photographing with Amanda, Mel and the team at Goldsborough Hall, and it’s an honour to be one of their recommended suppliers!
