Tomorrow (Sunday 18th November 2012) I’m going to be doing a wedding fair at East Riddlesden Hall near Keighley.
I’m one of the recommended suppliers at this amazing National Trust building and am booked to shoot a few weddings there this year.
It an honour to be become a supplier there, as the National Trust are quite selective about who they allow to photograph their properties.
I always meet upcoming couples there for their pre-wedding meeting & practice shoot, to get them limbered up for their big day!
Having been through the experience of being photographed before the wedding makes it so much easier (& quicker!) on the actual wedding day.
The pre-wedding shoot is a great op to find spots we can use again on the day.
But another reason to meet there is the carrot cake in the cafe. It’s pretty special.
Any cake that’s so big it has to be wedged into an already massive cake-holder is good with me.
You can see a blog I wrote about their wedding album here. We used this image on the cover of their wedding album.
But ERH isn’tt short on ace little spots for portraits
The drive also makes for a cool runway to get the wedding party involved.
They did a lovely job dressing in the Old Barn for their wedding breakfast.
A shot of the speeches.
…and as usual, we stayed into the evening to capture the first dance & celebrations!
So – if you’re around West Yorkshire tomorrow (Sunday 4th March 2012), would like to check out my work / albums, have a gas or simply pinch my haribo, drop by East Riddlesdon Hall and say Hi!
